WILL YOU RIDE WITH HIM? Equine Ministries

"If you will confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved" Romans 10:9-10 "Christ says "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him" Revelation 3:20

The Choice Is Now Yours..... Are you ready to begin your journey? If so, let me encourage you to pray a simple prayer like the one below. Receive God's free gift right now through prayer (prayer is talking to God). God knows your heart and is not as concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your Heart. Dear Jesus, I want a relationship with you. I admit that I am a sinner and ask you to forgive me for my sinful attitude and actions. I choose you as the leader of my life. I believe You are Jesus Christ, God's Son and that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. Thank you for your gift of forgiveness and for the promise of eternal life with you. Please take control of my life and make me the kind of person you want me to be. I want to surrender to you daily and follow you wherever you lead. Thank you, I believe you, and I trust you! Amen If this prayer expressed the true desires of your heart and your belief in Jesus Christ as your Savior, Christ will come into your life as He promised! "The witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that YOU MAY KNOW YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE! 1 John 5:11-13

Can you think of anything more exciting than knowing you have a personal friendship with the Creator of all things and that He loves you dearly? Why Not Praise God and Thank Him Right Now!

WHAT NOW? Just as we don't expect our horses to be perfect right away, God does not expect you to be perfect. He will lead you each step of the way and help you become the person He desires you to be. Just as our horse learns and grows by following our leading, you will also learn and grow as you trust God's leading.

T - TRY - All God asks is that we try; He will pick us up when we fall.

R - RESPECT - We must respect God and have reverence for Him.

U - UNDERSTAND - Understand that He loves us and wants the best for us.

S - STOP - When we get out of control, we must stop and surrender.

T - TALK - We must talk with God daily through prayer and Bible study.

Here are some suggestions to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ:

  • Get to know God/Jesus by reading your Bible and talking with God every day (start with the book of John in the New Testament-this book will tell you of God's love for you)

  • Obey God in everything. He will speak to your heart and guide you through Bible teachings.

  • Seek God's direction and trust Him with every detail of your life as He leads you.

  • Surrender to God each day.

  • Stay accountable by surrounding yourself with other Christians, worship, learn, fellowship and pray together.

  • Witness for Christ through your life and tell others the GOOD NEWS of Jesus!
